The syllabus is mapped to India's core agri-regulatory frameworks, helping graduates meet the educational eligibility criteria for the following dealership/trade licences.
Covers pesticide classification, legislation & equipment as per the Insecticides Act, 1968 & Insecticide Rules, 1971.
Covers manures, fertilizers & quality control as per the Fertilizer (Control) Order, including FCO labeling & stock norms.
Covers seed technology, certification, quality & labeling as per the Seeds Act & Seed Rules.
Licence issuance is granted by the respective State Agriculture / Licensing Department and is subject to that department’s applicable rules & documentation requirements.
It covers key areas such as crop production, horticulture, soil management, rural development & sustainable farming practices, combining theoretical knowledge with mentoring by faculty.
Candidates must have passed their 10th (SSC) or equivalent. You will need your 10th marksheet and Aadhaar card to apply.
The Certificate Program in Agriculture runs for 1 year.
The syllabus covers the Insecticides Act 1968, the Fertilizer (Control) Order & the Seeds Act, helping graduates meet the educational eligibility criteria for pesticide, fertilizer & seed dealer licences. Final licence issuance rests with the respective State Agriculture / Licensing Department.
